Christine Chang Has Joined Bridge Point Capital's Advisory Board

January 14, 2022, Manhattan, New York, New York – Bridge Point Capital (BPC) today formally announced that Christine Chang has joined its Advisory Board.

Christine has a successful career as an investor in institutional and family office asset management with traditional and alternative investments. With over 20 years of experience in investing, she has advised hedge funds and private equity funds to build their alternative investment businesses, family offices to structure their investment vehicles, and portfolio companies in transition.

She is currently the U.S. representative of Avire Finance, a European family office Advisor, and serves as the Chairman for the Board of Blueprint Capital Advisors, an alternative investment platform focused on aligning interests of pension and endowments with emerging alternative managers. Christine also has expertise in fintech and serves as an advisory board member for Uplinq, an advanced analytics platform assessing small business financial health. NYC Fintech Women named Christine as Inspiring Fintech Female in 2021. With more than two decades of investment experience in various industries and businesses, Christine will bring fresh investments perspectives to the Bridge Point Capital team.

In addition to the investment expertise, Christine also has strong management background. Previously, when she served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Alternative Investment Management, she developed the firm's compliance program, registered the firm with the SEC, and spearheaded special projects, such as designing and implementing strategic initiatives in operations and marketing. Christine has also worked as a Business Manager and advised on business development at MPI Professionals LLC, a subsidiary of CGI group. With early experience in consulting and many years of serving leadership positions for companies, Christine's management background would be an excellent contribution to the potential development of Bridge Point Capital and its portfolio companies.

As a successful female investor, Christine is also active in empowering women in the business world and building the female network. Previously, when Christine served as Chief Executive Officer of 6th Avenue Capital LLC, a small business thought leader in alternative financing and fintech, she established the firm's vision to provide short-term bridge financing to minority and women-owned businesses. Christine has also served as Chairman on the board of Bottomless Closet, a not-for-profit organization empowering woman in New York City to achieve financial self-sufficiency. She is currently a member of the Presidential Council of Cornell Women and the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, a member of 100 Women in Finance and High Water Women, and a mentor at Columbia Business School's Nonprofit Board Leadership Program and Cornell's Alumni-Student Mentoring Program. Christine earned her B.A. from Cornell University .
