Lee Kosmac Has Joined Bridge Point Capital through Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program

Manhattan, New York, New York – March 22nd, 2022, Bridge Point Capital (BPC) today formally announced that Lee Kosmac has joined the firm through its Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program.

Lee Kosmac

Lee Kosmac is driven by intense curiosity about people. A keen sense of human behavior combined with her ability to pose insightful questions enables her to simplify complex situations, challenge traditional ways of thinking and foster innovation. As Co-Founder at Left Tackle Capital she is able to pursue her passion for promoting diversity, effective corporate governance, navigating biases and mentoring. Her experiences in the venture capital world and as an angel investor have also presented expanded opportunities for exploring her passion.

Lee has been able to successfully pivot her career many times prior to an extensive career in commercial real estate. She began in education as a teacher; worked for the Department of Education researching change agents within hierarchical structures; moved into publishing as a product manager; started a marketing consulting practice; and transitioned to the world of systems software as a senior executive.

Her deep business experience, the ability to make things happen and an established track record of real estate transactions valued at more than $350 million positioned her for the role of senior managing director and chief of staff to CEO at Newmark Knight Frank. Acting as the ambassador and direct liaison between the CEO and other constituencies, both internal and external, she oversaw initiatives that required cross-functional collaboration and resource allocation.

Advancing more women and people of color onto corporate boards is a personal initiative that is still close to her heart. As a result, she became an influential navigator and relationship builder at executive levels. Lee was selected as one of the 100 Women Real Estate Leaders for the 21st Century by Real Estate Weekly and the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW); a recipient of the Real Estate Broker Award from the Morris Area Development Group for her contribution to the economy of Morris County through her representation of Pfizer Inc.; and named Volunteer of the Year for her service as a member of the Municipality of Haworth, New Jersey Planning Board.

She is a Founder of Plum Alley and served for seven years as a director and a member of the executive committee for the NYC Chapter of CoreNet Global, an international real estate trade organization. Lee also serves as trustee for her church, and you can often find her on a fishing boat or getting her hands dirty in the garden.

"We are delighted to have Lee join our Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program," stated Co-founder and Co-CEO Mark Young. "Lee is a well-respected leader in the key areas where BPC is focusing, therefore her appointment is a strategic and essential aspect of our company's growth. We are excited to have her on board."

Lee holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has also completed post graduate studies in Psychology at Bucknell University.
